On Nov. 2, 2010, 669 people in Green Valley, NV cast their vote for Nevada State Assembly District 29 for an openly bi heathen part-Native American differently abled woman of size Libertarian. This is the story of Erin Lale's campaign.

Henderson, NV (I-Newswire) February 12, 2011 - Erin Lale's latest book, How to Lose at Politics, Or, Not Bad for a Libertarian, is the story of her 2010 campaign for Nevada State Assembly, told through her blog posts, campaign literature, photos, and speeches.

Lale was an early favorite among fiscal conservatives, quickly gaining the endorsements of Liberty-Candidates org and the local Tea Party organization then known as Anger is Brewing, which later changed its name to Action is Brewing. She was also endorsed by the LPN Vote Caucus, Gun Owners of Nevada, Sensible Nevada, Animal Owners and Sportsmen of Nevada, Nevada PAC, and the Fraternal Order of Police. The State Assembly race was her first run for office, but she previously held an appointed position on the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Advisory Board. Lale got 4.2% of the vote in a three way race.

How to Lose at Politics largely consists of essays on local, state, and national political topics Lale wrote and posted on her blog. The topics include unemployment, taxes, health care, polls, state budget issues, schools, wasteful government spending, and even a nod to toll roads.
