New Book Breadcrumbs: ActionScript 3 Available Starting Today

New Orleans (I-Newswire) December 4, 2010 - Smart Ameba, a New Orleans-based publishing house, announced the release of its first technology book, Breadcrumbs ActionScript 3. The book is the first of the new up-start, with many new releases planned throughout 2011.

“Breadcrumbs: ActionScript 3 gives developers a book that, while educational, is a fun and easy read,” Alessandra Cusimano, Editor states, “I think it is a refreshing approach to technology books, especially for novice techies.”

Breadcrumbs ActionScript 3 is an introduction to developing web-based applications using Adobe’s Flash CS 5. The book is focuses on designers and new developers.

“My goal was to provide a book that is fun and easy to read, while also driving home key development topics” said Jason Michael Perry, author and New Orleans-native. “I wanted to create something I would use in my instructor-led Flash classes.”

Breadcrumbs: ActionScript 3 will be distributed through Ingram Books, the largest book distributor world-wide. The book will be available for order in the majority of retail stores in the United States, England, and Europe.

The book will also be available at Amazon.com and bn.com or direct from the publisher, Smart Ameba Press.

An iPad, eBook and Kindle version of the book is planned to be released before Thanksgiving.
