Houston, TX (I-Newswire) February 20, 2013 - The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) has once again joined forces with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to host the “14th Annual Legends Brunch,” wrapping up NBA All Star weekend festivities.

New York based company, Mint Creations LTD, provided each awardee with a one-of-a-kind crystal statue. The annual brunch took place at The Hotel Americas, located at 1600 Lamar, Houston, TX.

Mint Creations is a New York based 3D laser company, which has been in business for more than seven years, creating lasting, distinctive, rare individual crystals. The company developed their own state of the art preparatory software that takes 2D images and transforms them into 3D images.

Mint Creations works with retired NFL and NBA players, as well as Steiner Sports, to gift crystal creations to an exclusive list of athletes. Retired NBA Players Clyde Drexler, Calvin Murphy, Hakeem Olajuwon, Robert Horry, Dikembe Mutombo, Yao Ming, Rudy Tomjanovich and Dale Ellis were the recipients of the crystal awards gifted at the brunch. Previous gifted athletes include LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Tim Hardaway, John Starks, Pat Riley, Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter, Jack Brewer, Jerod Mayo, Antonio Smith, Chris Myers, Jason Pierre-Paul and Muhammad Ali.

“It was an honor and a privilege to represent Mint Creations in the “14th Annual Legends Brunch,” we think every player is a legend and that should be respected. We want to honor every legend with a timeless crystal keepsake. Our crystals featured the players image, which will never fade, it is something timeless they can pass down to their kids and families from generation to generation, it is a priceless keepsake,” said Izzy Roditi, Owner and CEO of Mint Creations.

The Annual Legends Brunch is the marquee event for the NBRPA during NBA All Star Weekend. This annual awards event featured TNT’s Ernie Johnson as master of ceremonies. The all-star event also featured appearances by some of the most outstanding NBA players. The brunch and awards was broadcasted live on NBA-TV and was expected to be seen in 50 million households. # # #[www.exactpublicity.com]
