NASA Cartoons Show Engineers Do Have A Sense Of Humor

Nasaology, a new NASA Cartoon site has launched offering a humorous look at NASA and the space program from the inside. The site was originally launched for people ‘inside’ the space program, but soon found a niche following among those who work for NASA on the fringe via the new private space companies and NASA contractors.

NASA does not support, condone, or necessarily agree with Nasaology’s NASA Cartoons. What’s hilarious to one is meaningless to another. What one finds offensive, another considers within-bounds. The site takes pride on being politically incorrect to some degree, although they do police themselves.

Nasaology can provide exclusive cartoons and editorials which currently are not published on Nasaology.com to large distribution networks — like USA Today, Popular Science or others and encourages the public to contact them for authentic, educational and informative articles with an insider's take.

Their goal is to make laughs by creating cartoons about the news, politics, truths, stereotype and rumors within NASA and the private space industry. They also wish to make people think by publishing articles that reveal the current state of NASA and that offer solutions to these problems.

The site germinated on a NASA insider trip in 2009. Three people from different NASA Centers began comparing notes on the current state of NASA. After hours of discussions and laughter, someone stated the obvious: “We could make a cartoon out of this stuff!” So these three anonymous insiders started Nasaology and the rest is history.
