The Dataquest CMR Best Employer Survey 2011 was based on an initial survey of 200 IT companies and then narrowed down to 38 participating finalist companies. Scores from the initial and follow-up surveys, calculated separately, were combined to arrive at a composite score for the final survey rankings.
