NAFA Launches New Expo Website and Opens Registration For 2010 I&E

NAFA's 2010 Institute & Expo will be anything but the same old I&E. Revamped based on suggestions by Members and Affiliates, the I&E boasts a brand new website, high-powered keynote speakers, and more educational programs than ever.

NAFA is proud to announce the launch of www.NAFAIandE.org, the conference website devoted to the fleet industry's largest networking event of the year, and the launch of NAFA's Institute & Expo online registration.

NAFA is pulling out all the stops in 2010 with the goal of making I&E the most valuable networking, business, and educational event in the fleet industry.

The 2010 Institute & Expo will be held April 24-27 at the Cobo Convention Center in Detroit, Michigan. The event will feature three Keynote Addresses (one on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday) from high-level, industry-specific executives. Confirmed is the President and CEO of General Motors, Frederick (Fritz) Henderson; executives from Ford and Chrysler have been invited as well.

Created by fleet managers for fleet managers, NAFA's I&E features one of the industry's largest exhibit floors. In 2010, the show floor is front and center as the focus of all the fleet managers, all education sessions, workshops, Ride-and-Drive, and the Public Safety Group's Roadeo will occur either before or after show hours! The Networking Welcome Reception will now take place on the Expo Floor, so attendees can do business while relaxing with some great food and drink.

The 2010 website provides complete conference information for I&E attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors - from a quick overview of the I&E schedule, a detailed program of educational courses and sessions, networking events, and Expo Floor details, to valuable information on how to participate and sign up for NAFA's Habitat for Humanity Day in Detroit. The website also provides you with information on hotel accommodations, making reservations, airline discounts, and other travel details.

"Networking is an important aspect of the experience. Not only does [I&E] offer an opportunity to reacquaint myself with people, but it gives me a chance to meet new people who are dealing with the same issues as me," said David Lighthall, CFM/CAFM, National Fleet Supervisor, Kraft Foods, Inc. and NAFA Member.

NAFA is also helping attendees, Members, and Affiliates save $100 off the on-site registration rate with an early bird discount December 31, 2009 at https://www.badgeguys.com/reg/2010/nafa/register.aspx

The Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center is the I&E headquarters hotel; and the Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Downtown which will serve as the secondary hotel. Government rates are also available at both hotels. To make reservations visit: http://www.nafa.org/IETemplate.cfm?Section=Attendee_Information&ContentID=14123
