MVI Systems Showcases Audio App Enabled Hospitality Entertainment System at HA+D Expo

Hong Kong/Singapore (I-Newswire) May 30, 2011 - Hospitality IPTV specialist MVI Systems will showcase its HD IPTV in-room entertainment system, including the brand new Audio App, at the Hospitality, Architecture & Design (HA+D) Expo in Singapore this week.

A first globally, MVI’s Audio App gives hotel guests the unique ability to stream music live from their own devices to the hotel’s IPTV entertainment system wirelessly using AirPlay.

It is the latest in a series of features launched by MVI that are set to revolutionise hospitality entertainment and confirm MVI’s system to be the most technologically advanced in the market today. They include apps such as real time flight information, interactive local maps, selected YouTube content and room service ordering, as well as the ‘second screen’ which enables guests to access their in-room entertainment content through a tablet or smart phone anywhere in the hotel for the duration of their stay.

Powered by MVI’s VIP enterprise class video headend equipment, the system includes all elements of the technical delivery of HD content to hotels at the lowest TOC (Total Cost of Ownership), as well as the guest facing front end and the content, including movies, TV and interactive features.

The system, which integrates with all major PMS providers, will be on show at the booth of MVI’s partner Ruckus (G33). The HA+D expo will be held from 31 May to 2 June at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands hotel.
