Mustique Dining and Nightlife
As a private island, Mustique has a unique variety of delights. The Cotton House, offers two wonderful restaurants. The open concept Verandah Restaurant is an elegant setting for both breakfast and candlelit dinners overlooking the sea. Nearby, on the sand of Endeavour Bay, the Beach Cafe is the perfect destination for morning coffee, lunch as well as sunset cocktails. On Saturday's, following the island's outdoor movie, the Cafe fires up the grills for a night time BBQ.
For villa rental guests, every meal is an occasion, that is prepared by your own talented cook and served either indoors or on the verandah overlooking the view. For a change of scene, ask for a gourmet picnic to be served in one of the huts on Lagoon, Pasture beach or Macaroni beach.
At night, candlelit tables on the balcony take full advantage of the sunset at Firefly's restaurant. This is the island's only guesthouse and provides an intimate atmosphere, with breathtaking views over Britannia Bay.
Basil's Bar, one of the world's great beach bars offers a Caribbean casual atmostphere. This waterside setting is unbeatable, and the food is simply delicious. Local bands take to the stage and the island's guests to the dance floor for the Wednesday night "Jump Up & Barbecue." If you visit in late January you can enjoy Basil's Blues Festival which attracts world class musicians for two weeks of fun. No reservations are necessary to be part of this. Simply order a cold Hairoun beer and take a seat. On Tuesday night, everyone on the exclusive caribbean island gathers for the complimentary cocktail party hosted by the Mustique Company in the Great Room at the Cotton House. On Friday and Saturday nights, the hotel screens movies outside under the stars.

Mustique Weather
Mustique is a tropical paradise. The average temperatures are high and fluctuate little because of its latitude position. Island Visitors can expect highs in the mid-eighties to low nineties during the summer months. Cool trade wind breezes temper the hot sun. Mustique weather remains pleasant even in the coldest of "winter" months, with temperatures rarely dipping below 75 degrees. Between May and October guests will experience short-lived showers.
