Mustang Survival will be exhibiting the latest Integrated Aircrew Ensemble (IAE) developments with its IAE program partners at the 2012 SAFE Symposium and presenting its latest findings on aircrew egress survival.

Mustang Survival will be co-exhibiting in booth 505/507 with its IAE program partners and providing the United States Air Force community with the latest updates on the IAE program. Mustang Survival is one of three key product development partners selected by the USAF for a five-year program to outfit every aircrew duty station with a new completely integrated and modular aviation system. This year's exhibit will focus on providing an overview of the benefits of IAE and current program developments.

Jason Leggatt, Mustang Survival's Vice President of Research and Development, will be addressing the critical factors for surviving a rotary wing aircraft ditching and new test and evaluation methods in state-of-the-art performance standards for aircrew flight equipment. His presentation will focus on specific applications of Mustang Survival's custom designed buoyancy and egress assessment trainer called The Beast, which has been used to test products and train specialists on successful egression from a submerge aircraft.

"SAFE is the perfect venue for presenting the latest on egress and survival technologies to the rotary aircrew community," says Leggatt. "We are also excited to be co-exhibiting with our IAE partners this year to highlight the latest developments on the IAE program that focuses on increasing mission efficiency and providing optimal protection levels for our USAF users."

The SAFE association is dedicated to ensuring personal safety and protection for land, sea, air, and space environments. This annual symposium is an internationally attended event for exchanging technical information and showcasing the industry's latest capabilities for vehicular occupant protection and personnel safety equipment. This year's 50th Symposium will be held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, from Oct 22 to 24, 2012.
