Julie McNamara, fearless heroine of the Johnny Walker series, is a journalist who will stop at nothing to get her story. Asked about this character, Dan said, “Julie is very smart. Dan Murphy retired from the Nassau County (NY) Sheriff’s Department, following a highly successful 25 year career. He is a licensed private investigator, and was the editor of the campus newsletter for the School of Labor Studies at the SUNY College at Old Westbury. He earned a Master’s degree in human resource management from Stony Brook University. Dan lives in Tennessee.

Christopher Murphy is the author of the hilarious screenplay, Hard Up- The Adventures of Cory and Josh. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Stony Brook University. He lives in New York.
