Motorcycle Friendly Accommodation Announce New Website

In the past it’s been difficult for bikers to find welcoming accommodation, but all that’s about to change with the launch of a new website.

(I-Newswire) March 8, 2010 - MotorcycleFriendlyAccommodation.com announces the launch of its new website. The website will facilitate the motorcycle community with bike friendly hotels, motels, lodgings and campgrounds throughout the USA. Initially it will focus on California and Florida, but in due course will cover the entire United States.

The owner of the website is himself a keen motorcyclist and also owns the successful motorcycle touring website, motorbike-tours.co.uk I interrupted his busy schedule to find out about the new venture.

‘It’s always a problem for bikers,’ he said ‘to know if you’re going to be made welcome when you stop whilst on tour. It would be so much easier if you could book your lodgings in advance, in the knowledge that the establishment you are going to is not only willing to accept you, but will actually welcome you as a biker. I understand that some hotels and motels don’t really want bikers in their place, so it’s better for them and us if we go somewhere that does embrace motorcycle riders. That’s why we’ve started this website, to give motorcyclists somewhere to go to find their accommodation.’

The eventual aim of the website is to provide biker friendly accommodation in every county of every state. Of course, that’s going to take some time, but keep an eye on the site and watch it grow.
