Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Just like HIV in human, cats can get affected with FIV. There are no specific treatments available for this disease. Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)
Among many other fatal cat health problems, leukemia in cats or feline leukemia is another disease that weakens the immune system of a cat's body. When affected with FeLV, a cat may start showing symptoms of general feline diseases and only a blood test can diagnose the proper case.

Feline Infectious Perotonitis (FIP)
This is a disease which can even affect indoor cats. This is because this specific virus can live in damp areas, such as in shoes, hands, clothes and in gardens. However, it is possible to save the life of your cat with timely vaccination.

Although some of the feline diseases aren’t treatable, there are still some good tips. Probably the most important is to make sure your cats vaccinations are up to date.
