Each day in March Hulafrog will highlight One Cool Summer Camp in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

LITERACY LEADERS CAMP
Want to make sure your child keeps up on his reading, writing and creative skills this summer? Try Monmouth University’s Literacy Center has a unique camp that will help further the literacy skills your child learned throughout the school year. The activities/curriculum changes from year as they are designed by Monmouth University students studying to be teachers. Some activities have included writing their own books, making up their own board games, creating story charts and continuing to develop a story each day, reading, and more. Activities are done with like aged kids, as well as with a mix of age groups. (There are approximately 3 kids per counselor.) Kids must be going into first grade to participate.

Dates: June 27-30 * Second session in July. Dates TBD.
Time: 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $85
Ages: 1st to 6th grade
Location: Monmouth University, West Long Branch
