Miracle Temple Networks Offers Streaming Video to iPhone Viewers

(I-Newswire) November 20, 2009 - Miracle Temple Networks (MTN) now offers streaming video to iPhone users by simply connecting to iphone.mtnetworks.tv. MTN is one of a handful of churches that offers this flexibility to its viewers.

"We are constantly looking for new ways that we can use technology to reach our viewers anywhere in the world," says Rich Herard, MTN Programming Director.

MTN began beta testing the iPhone streaming video application immediately. The media team successfully streamed the church’s worship service 48 hours after learning about the opportunity. Many mobile platforms cannot support flash video but this technology allows iPhone users to view MTN inspirational programming anywhere they have an Internet connection.

“With an audience that is continuing to expand beyond the physical church boundary,” says Wes Guerrier, MTN Communications Director, “we see the need and opportunity to share Miracle Temple’s worship experience with a globally connected audience.”

Streaming live video on the iPhone is only the first step in a plan to provide spiritual video programming around the world. Assistant Media Director Henry McEachnie is researching ways to bring MTN’s inspirational content to all mobile devices. “We will continue to find as many avenues of communication as possible to connect with the content demands of our growing viewer base,” says McEachnie.

Launched in May 2009, Miracle Temple Networks provides streaming and on demand inspirational programming. MTN programming includes weekly church services, music concerts, and a monthly youth talk show which encourages viewer participation through a chat room. More than 8,000 viewers in over 100 countries regularly watch MTN programming each month.
