Mind Maps – A Useful Tool For Children With Dyslexia And Dysgraphia

Lexicon Reading Center is announcing a unique program named ‘Linking Mind Maps to Dyslexia and Dysgraphia’; to specifically help encourage the use of Mind Mapping as a technique for students with learning difficulties.

Dubai (I-Newswire) February 28, 2013 - Lexicon Reading Centre [LRC] is a Dubai-situated learning center that supports differently-enabled kids realize their true potential.

As part of this vision, Lexicon Reading Center is announcing a unique program named ‘Linking Mind Maps to Dyslexia and Dysgraphia’; to specifically help encourage the use of Mind Mapping as a technique for students with learning difficulties.

It's estimated that 1 in 6 students today have some form of learning difficulty manifest as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, attention deficit disorder, autism and such. The important thing here is how we as parents, educators and as concerned people of an enlightened society help such children. There are many ways.

As part of the Linking Mind Maps to Dyslexia and Dysgraphia, Lexicon Reading Center has planned a series of activities for students, educators and parents of children with learning difficulties.

The event will be held at Rashid Medical Library Auditorium, Rashid Hospital, Dubai, UAE on Sunday, 17-Mar-2013.
