Online, March 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Love Matters Campaign is a charitable event benefiting the homeless and less fortunate communities of Los Angeles. The Love Matters Campaign event was born out of this organizations focus on the homeless population in Los Angeles, California, as it is one of the largest in the nation. This event will consist of an Open Photo Shoot, where attendees will register online to participate in the photo shoot in order to raise money for the Shade The Homeless™ charity project. Through contributions and fundraising, Shade The Homeless™ will be able to continue its mission to provide headwear to the homeless.

One out of every three homeless person in Los Angeles are under the age of 18. There are currently 48,000 people living on the streets, including 6,000 veterans in Los Angeles, California alone. With limited access to healthcare and preventative resources, Shade The Homeless™ mission's is to donate those small necessities such as headwear to aid in the possible prevention of certain life threatening skin concerns. By providing warmth in the cold, and shade in the day, we are showing the less fortunate that we are aware and we care.
All fees vary based on photo package and are considered donations towards the project. Donations can be made at http://www.gofundme.com/shadethehomeless. Participants are asked to wear red or white only; jeans excepted, shirts cannot have logos.
