Merge of Odesk and Elance Freelancing Companies on Internet

Online, December 21, 2013 (Newswire.com) - There is a breaking news for Freelancers over internet on 19th October 2013 that two largest freelancer companies announced intention of their merge.According to them it will be done in coming next fourt months.Both Freelancer Companies will merge as a big giant with a new name in online market place. Elance CEO FAbio Rosati will as as new CEO of the merged company and ODESK CEO GARY Swart act as "Strategic Advisor".
In the mean time Clients of both websites will continue to work with their clients as before in the meanwhile ODESK and ELANCE will continue to operate as two separate websites.
According to both companies perspective they can give better services to Freelancers as well as clients by merging of both companies. This merger is not official until regulatory approval.Its pertinent to note that the newly merger will boast to a user of about eight million freelancers-ODESK is contribution five million and Elance has a share of three million freelancers.
