Men's Journal, National Geographic and Trip Advisor Mention Regions of Moab
Men's Journal, National Geographic and Trip Advisor have lists as 2013 concluded indicating selected highlights in travel. Moab's landscape places in a photo contest and a regional activity is on a 2014 Bucket List.
Online, January 13, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Wrapping up 2013, Men's Journal, National Geographic and Trip Advisor have mentioned aspects of Moab, Utah areas in notable travel lists. Also in December the National Geographic Traveler Magazine announced Photo Contest winners of 2013; once again Moab's landscape triumphs.
Men's Journal compiled twelve of the Most Breathtaking views in the United States. This Expert Advice declares the views will not be found on elevators or highways. "They're hidden at the end of rocky trails, at the bottom of canyons, deep in caves, and even underwater." The night sky of Canyonlands National Park's Needles District warrants honor on the list. Mountain Biking the Kokopelli Trail is classic trip #11. 2013 is a perfect year to feature the 142 mile Kokopelli trail since a one day speed record was set this year. Rebecca Rusch rode the trail in 13 hours and 32 minutes. Moab has additional notorious and classic trails: Slickrock Bike Trail, Porcupine Rim, and the Amasa Back. Each year the Moab Trail Mix adds mileage to the inventory of mountain bike trails, so new classics may well be developing like The Pipe Dream, Captain Ahab or any of the segments totaling the new ten miles added to the Klondike Focus area.
TripAdvisor posted Ten Destinations on the Rise in the U.S. under the "Best of" section of TripAdvisor. The Travelers' Choice 2013 Awards is earned by locations that see the greatest increase in positive traveler feedback this year compared to previous years. Arches National Park is ranked #1 of 46 attractions in Moab. This gorgeous place is a Must See for everyone. Delicate Arch is an icon for the state of Utah.
