Mellowpalooza Comes to Fayetteville

Mellow Mushroom of Fayetteville will host Mellowpalooza on November 10, celebrating their first year in Fayetteville and thanking residents for their support.

Fayetteville, NC (I-Newswire) November 2, 2012 - Mellow Mushroom of Fayetteville will host Mellowpalooza on November 10, celebrating their first year in Fayetteville and thanking residents for their support.

Mellowpalooza will also raise money for the USO of North Carolina. “Having Mellowpalooza on Veterans Day weekend is perfect because it give us a chance to thank our troops and express our gratitude for their service and sacrifice” explained Fogleman. Along with raising money for the USO of North Carolina, the first 100 active duty members and veterans with military ID at the event will receive a free slice of pizza.

Mellowpalooza is a free event for all ages which will take place in the Mellow Mushroom parking lot from noon to 8 p.m. Parking for Mellowpalooza will be at Hamrick’s next door to Mellow Mushroom. Mellowpalooza will include face painting, a bounce house for the kids, corn hole, frozen yogurt, $2.00 pizza slices, $1.00 drafts and more. Local bands will play throughout the event, including J.D. & Bill, Eric Smallwood and JAH Creation Reggae Band. Mellowpalooza corporate partners include Vantage South Bank, Reed-Lallier Chevrolet, R.A. Jeffery’s Distributing Company, Duplin Winery and the USO of North Carolina.

Mellow Mushroom will also host a pizza eating contest at the event. Participants will compete to see who can eat a medium cheese pizza the quickest. The winner will receive free pizza for a year.
