Melange Offers Private Candlelight Dinner to Celebrate New Year!

Melange promises an evening of pampering in a unique ambiance of elegance and intimacy. Guests can choose among four venues The Greenhouse Room which will come with loggia seating facing the garden, the Turquoise Room, the Grand Living Room where table is placed in front of the marble fireplace or the East Porch which is airy with plenty of light and color. The theme for this year's candlelight dinner is “Across the Mediterranean: From the Levant to Iberian Peninsula”.

Melange Bed and Breakfast will serve five-course meal for the special candlelight dinner this New Year. The dinner will be served in festive bone china, crystal-and silverware. Appetizers will include Eggplant Nest, Phyllo Cigars, Zucchini, Dill and Scallion Fritter with Smoked Trout, Coquilles St. Jacques and chicken and Walnut pâté en Croût.

Soups for the special candlelight dinner at Melange Bed and Breakfast will include Tomato Bisque, Chick Pea and Spinach Soup, Curried Salmon Soup and Traditional French Onion Soup. The exquisite salads in this year’s menu are Baby Reds and Greens Salad Spinach and Wilted Red Cabbage Salad Salad Niçoise among others. In entrees they have Basque Style Grilled Tuna, Coq- au-Vin and Shrimp a la Mélange.

Melange Bed and Breakfast will treat the guests with mouthwatering desserts Lavender Crème Brule Grand Marnier Dark and White Chocolate Trifle, Raspberry Mousse Torte, Caramelized Pumpkin and Hazelnut and Dried Apricot Chocolate Mosaic. Traditional gourmet coffees, flavored coffees, Turkish coffee and tea and soft drinks are included in the menu. The candlelight dinner is open to house guests as well as to non-staying patrons.
