Shirley Fine Lee (www.shirleyfinelee.com) will lead the topic of "Moving Meetings from Boring to Productive - 10 Mistakes Meeting Leaders Make" at the January 28, 2010 meeting of the Dallas Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). This will be a presentation of interactive discussion based on ten mistakes meeting leaders often make along with a short lecture that stresses important elements of productive meetings (Roles, Agenda, Records, and Actions) from Ms. Lee's book R.A!R.A! A Meeting Wizard's Approach. The session is designed primarily for team and project leaders to discuss how they can improve meetings they lead. However, anyone who plans, leads, or attends multiple meetings will benefit as well.

Additional presentations will be offered by Kiami Rogers who will speak in a different session on ASQ division membership. Peter Andres will offer a lively and topical presentation on "Making the Case for Quality" after Ms. Lee. The meeting will be held in Richardson, TX from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.
