Medicatech USA To Showcase New Retrofit Panels At RSNA 2012 In Chicago

Medicatech USA will showcase its new lineup of affordable, lightweight Wireless & Portable Cassette Size X-ray Panels (Wireless 14"x17", Wired 14"x17", Fixed 17"x17) at RSNA '12. This new KrystalRad series of panels comes with Auto Exposure Detection (AED), which features an "auto-sensing trigger" inside the detector that requires no cable connection or integration with the x-ray generator.

In addition, Medicatech will also be showcasing its new Voyance Acquisition Software for Human and Veterinary Medicine - a package which has become vastly popular with chiropractic and podiatry professionals. According to Dr. Makar, this has all the features necessary to control CR or DR acquisition hardware. It can receive DICOM modality worklists from a remote PACs, while also sending acquired images to a remote PACs. And it supports calibration of images and accurate free-mark-up measurement tools, side-by-side image viewing, and a full complement of image processing tools.

Also, an advanced feature of Voyance turns the acquisition software into an all-in-one acquisition and mini-PACs solution, and offers such additional DICOM abilities, advanced "Guided Mark-Up" for analysis of various anatomy, multi-page report creation, image stitching, voice annotation ability, the ability to create/edit custom filtering algorithms, special image & data export features, and additional image processing tools and databases, among other features.

RSNA 2012 will be the 98th meeting of the Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, and is considered the world's premier medical meeting.
