Dattatreya (Sanskrit: दत्तात्रेय, Dattātreya) or Datta. Dattatreya is a Hindu God who is an incarnation of the Divine Trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The Shri GuruCharitra is the life story of Shri Narasimha Saraswati, his philosophy and related stories written by the 15th-16th Century poet Shri Saraswati Gangadhar. Some people regard the book to be historically important as it depicts stories or events which took place around the 14th Century. The book originally had 52 Chapters; the 53rd Chapter of "Avatarnika" summarizes the previous 51 chapters.
