McMillin Realty Gives Back to the Community

San Diego (I-Newswire) November 2, 2011 - The attitude and tone for any company starts at the top, and you would be hard pressed to find a leader more dedicated to giving than Scott McMillin. McMillin Realty has always partnered with charitable organizations and donated to groups with a great cause. These principles begin with President Scott McMillin, who has been an advocate for philanthropy. McMillin Realty was proud to once again work in conjunction with several noble causes and community programs throughout San Diego.

Mr. McMillin is active in donating his time, serving on the boards for Chula Vista Sharp Hospital, the Chula Vista Police Foundation Board, the South County Economic Development Council, as well as chairing the Sharp Hospice South Bay Home Board. On top of giving his time, Mr. McMillin also generously donated money to several local groups, including youth programs and scholarship funds. McMillin Realty follows in the footsteps of its President by giving back through community partnerships.

This year was a special year for the City of Chula Vista as it commemorated its 100th year of establishment, and McMillin Realty was eager to help the proud City of Chula Vista celebrate. McMillin continued its annual sponsorship of a few of the Centennial festivities, including the Historic Homes Tour and the Easter Egg Hunt at Discovery Park, as well as its annual sponsorship of the Chula Vista Rotary Club Wine & Taste Event, held every August to help raise money for the club. McMillin also sponsored Wild West Bonitafest, a lively and family friendly event that showcased the best of Bonita, and the Sharp Hospital Annual Golf & Dinner Event, with proceeds going to support life-saving patient programs and services.
