MBH Architects Names Renee Charland Director of Human Resources

MBH Architects has appointed Renee Charland as director of human resources in the firm's Alameda, California office. With more than 20 years of experience, Charland will be responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies.

MBH Architects has appointed Renee Charland as director of human resources in the firm's Alameda, California office.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Charland will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic human resources initiatives that are closely aligned to the firm's business strategies and goals in order to create positive change in the organization. "We believe the addition of Renee to our executive team enhances our ability to take the firm to the next level," said Dennis Heath, founding principal of MBH Architects. "Her expertise will enable us to develop strategic programs and add qualified talent."

Ongoing projects will include partnering with team leaders in the areas of workforce planning and staffing, identifying and developing programs aimed at aligning employees with the organization's internal business objectives, acting as coach and counsel to all levels of staff across the organization, and providing guidance to managers on HR policies and state and federal employment laws and regulations.

For the past 12 years, the seasoned professional has worked specifically with architecture and engineering firms in the areas of organizational development and human resources. Her focus on building high quality human resources programs, processes, and teams that deliver results to all users with a particular emphasis on effective communication, staff planning, and development made her a fitting candidate for the director of human resources position at MBH Architects. Charland also brings experience in both domestic and international organizational development and human resources processes and programs to the firm.

Charland attended the State University of New York at Canton where she received a degree in agronomy.
