Mather LifeWays Names Roger E. Lumpp as New Board of Directors Chair

Mather LifeWays celebrates its 70th anniversary and announces the election of Roger E. Lumpp II as chair of its board of directors.

Evanston, IL (I-Newswire) April 25, 2011 - Mather LifeWays, a unique, non-denominational not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating Ways to Age Well and celebrating its 70th anniversary, has announced the election, effective March 14, 2011, of Roger E. Lumpp II as chair of its board of directors, succeeding Jeff Reed, who served as board chair since 2006.

"Mr. Lumpp’s executive experience, leadership, and passion for achieving Mather LifeWays mission will be key in furthering our innovative practices and successes in the areas of research, senior living residences, and community outreach.” said Mary Leary, president and CEO of Mather LifeWays.

Roger E. Lumpp II joined Mather LifeWays board of directors in 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Lumpp is a director with KPMG, an international audit, tax and advisory services firm.

Mr. Lumpp has over twenty years of executive-level experience in the financial services industry with two publicly held insurance-centered corporations. Prior to joining KPMG, Mr. Lumpp was managing director at BearingPoint and a partner with Arthur Anderson’s business consulting group. He currently serves on the board of trustees of Seabury Western Theological Seminary and the board of directors of Skokie Country Club.
