The new Vibrato artists' model trumpet, due for release in January 2010 is an affordable, professional-quality instrument for players in both jazz and symphonic ensembles.

(I-Newswire) December 20, 2009 - Available in 925 silver plate at $1,250 or lacquer finish at $1,100, what is unusual, apart from the competitive price for a quality professional trumpet, is the mouthpipe which, on the silver plated model, is made from solid sterling (925) silver.

In addition, both silver and lacquer models are supplied with an Xstream mouthpiece. The Xstream mouthpiece has a patent ‘Power Chamber’ design – a larger cylinder immediately following the exit of the throat of the mouthpiece. This has a stabilizing effect on the sound waves before entering the backbore, therefore maintaining a tighter core before entering the horn. The ultimate result is a more solid core sound, better projection and flexibility while helping increase most players’ range as well.

These new additions to the Vibrato line of trumpets and flugelhorns each takes over ten days to complete and features a .468" bore, brass body, nickel slide tubes, 5 5/16" diameter one-piece brass bell, mother of pearl valve buttons and top-sprung Monel pistons.
