Oracle SQL Developer is a graphical user interface that allows the users to browse database objects, run SQL statements and scripts in addition to creating, editing, and debugging PL/SQL statements in the most efficient way. In essence, Oracle SQL Developer enhances productivity and simplifies database development tasks.
