Master of the insane and the hilarious, director Orrin Zucker joins Z Animation directing roster.

Remember all those weird stories that happen to you that are so outlandish and outrageous that they seem like they’d be better fit to be in a cartoon rather than happening to you in real life? Director Orrin Zucker remembers, though he goes as far as to not think about how these absurd stories in life should be in cartoons-he actually does it. And now he will be creating more crazy yet-brilliant work for Z Animation (www.zanimation.tv).

Using a style of animation perfect for the subject material, Orrin Zucker (partnered with his brother Jerry) have been the creators of the highly-successful, Emmy-winning web series, “It’s Jerry Time,” a collection of online shorts depicting the preposterous events that happen in our everyday lives. Armed with a cubist-style of animation using paper cutouts, photo collages and CGI, Zucker uses a very peculiar but unique and perfect way of depicting these crazy tales of how situations in life can go from “bad to worse” instantaneously.

Headed by Executive Producer Peter Barg, Z Animation and its directors have a reputation for being a center of some of the most fascinating and exceptional pieces of animation in the advertising world, and the new addition of director Orrin Zucker is no surprise. Based near Boston, Massachusetts, director Zucker and his studio Ozone have provided several different pieces of animation, from motion graphics for USA Studios and CNN, to animated spots for Verizon Mobile and Ooma Free Phone Service, to the award-winning “It’s Jerry Time” webisodes.
