Marlabs to Conduct Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP) Training & Certification Course

Piscataway (I-Newswire) February 7, 2012 - Marlabs Inc., a leading provider of innovative Information Technology services, announced today that it is conducting a Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP) Training & Certification program at its Piscataway office between the 27th of February and the 2nd of March. The training will be conducted in collaboration with eFortresses, a risk management solutions company providing best of breed security training and certification for regulatory compliance.

This is the only course available today that imparts training on the integration of ISO 27002/27001with COBIT, COSO, ITIL and Multiple Regulations that pertain to information security & privacy.

The HISP course will be spread across 5 days. The first three days will focus on providing delegates with the necessary skills to implement a corporate Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework that is compliant with the requirements of ISO 27001, and many of the most common regulatory requirements today including HIPAA, FFIEC, GLBA, SOX and PCI-DSS. Day 4 will provide information about audit procedures, COBIT, COSO and ITIL and this will be followed by the certification examination on day 5.
