Marigold Consulting To Offer Communication Calisthenics Seminar

Atlanta, GA (I-Newswire) February 13, 2011 - Marigold Consulting is sponsoring a two-day seminar on workplace communication skills for business professionals on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 and Thursday May 26, 2011 at MicroTek Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. Through personal assessments, interactive exercises, and group activities, participants will discover communication muscles they did not realize they had, tone muscles they have not used in a while, and further strengthen muscles they have been using all along.

The seminar is comprised of six information-packed modules during which attendees will learn how to become more authentic communicators and master active listening techniques. Attendees will also explore the importance of nonverbal cues in communication, foolproof ways to give and receive constructive feedback, and practical steps to voice disagreement effectively and resolve conflict. The seminar will conclude with a module on addressing difficult workplace communication issues, including gossip, negativity, and bullying.
