Marbella Restaurants Da Bruno Launch Asparagus Month for March 2010

(I-Newswire) March 18, 2010 - Da Bruno Marbella and San Pedro Restaurants open the Asparagus Month of 2010, for the whole of March throughout their restaurants in the Costa del Sol, Spain. The month will be filled with delightful, healthy asparagus recipes as part of Da Brunos continued healthy eating initiative.

Mouth-watering dishes such as White and Green Asparagus in Vinaigrette and Salmon Bombs or White Asparagus with Grilled Galician Veal Loin will be on the menu.

Da Bruno’s founders, Giuseppina and Bruno Filippone, have listened carefully to the feedback of their valued customers and the Asparagus Month is a direct result of this. They feel it is the perfect time to launch a series of healthy yet imaginative recipes some which will be honoured during periods such as the Asparagus Month and others which will take their proud place in their new menu.

Asparagus which is green is a very good source of vitamin C. Low in calories also, asparagus contains no cholesterol and is very low in sodium. It contains vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, calcium, magnesium, zinc, thiamine, riboflavin, rutin, niacin, folic acid, iron, potassium, selenium, phosphorus, copper and manganese.
