Manning Named Director of Real Estate Lending at Truliant Federal Credit Union

Truliant recently named John Manning as their director of real estate lending.

Truliant recently named John Manning as their director of real estate lending. In this position, Manning will manage and protect assets held in the real estate loan portfolio on behalf of Truliant and its member-owners. The real estate loan portfolio consists of first mortgages, construction loans as well as home equity lines of credit and loans. In addition, Manning will assist training employees and managing workflow within the department.

"With his many years of experience in the Triad area mortgage industry, we're confident that he will make an excellent addition to our credit union family and help us continue to execute our mission of enhancing our member-owners' financial lives on a daily basis."

Prior to joining Truliant, Manning worked at New American Mortgage, the fastest growing Mortgage Company in the United States, located in 15 states. During his time at New American, he served as the Triad market leader, building the leading residential mortgage enterprise in High Point, Greensboro, Winston Salem and Burlington.

Manning also served as the vice president and division head at Southern Community Bank and Trust, a $1.7 billion community bank with 22 offices in Central and Western North Carolina. Manning received his B.A. in English at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
