Manjushree Technopack Declares Q3 Results: PAT Up By 128%.

•Net sales: Rs. 8746 Lacs (Rs. 7081 Lacs) – Growth of 24% •PAT: Rs. 583 Lacs (Rs. 255 Lacs) – Up by 128% •PBT: Rs. 846 Lacs (Rs. 383 Lacs) – Increase by 121%

bangalore (I-Newswire) February 4, 2013 - Plastic Packaging major Manjushree Technopack Ltd, the largest PET Bottles & PET Preforms Manufacturer in the country, today announced the results for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. While sales went up by 24%, Profit before Tax (PBT) grew by 121% and Profit after Tax (PAT) grew by 128%. The fully diluted EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 4.30. The Board met on February 4th 2013 to adopt the un-audited financial results.

Speaking about the Q3 financial results, Mr. Vimal Kedia, Managing Director, Manjushree Technopack Ltd said, “We have seen consistent growth and performance across all verticals and that together with our operational efficiencies have contributed to the growth in PAT. We expect this trend to continue in the coming quarters and to close the year on a strong note. Manjushree’s new facility in Bangalore, Karnataka, is the single largest PET preform manufacturing plant in South Asia. We will continue investing in growth and we expect to see even better results in future”.

Manjushree Technopack is the largest manufacturer of PET Bottles & Preforms in the country, with the production capacity to be 80000 MTPA by Mar.’13, which is equal to 15% of the total PET consumption in India. The state-of-art automaton in the new facility will help reduce man power cost and improve efficiencies. This plant is also one of the very few LEED Platinum Certified Green Factories in India.

This year saw the company adding to its portfolio, new clients like United Spirits Limited, Reckitt Benckiser, Bacardi, Diageo and Big Cola for PET Bottles and PET Preforms businesses.
