Manhattan Door Corporation Relocates

Carlstadt, NJ (I-Newswire) October 20, 2010 - After 45 years of being headquartered in New York, Manhattan Door Corporation announced its relocation to Carlstadt, New Jersey. The company will celebrate the move with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, October 26th at 1:00PM. The ceremony, open to the public, will be held at their new facility at 109 Kero Road, Carlstadt, New Jersey 07072. Mayor Will Roseman, Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce President Jim Kirkos and Chamber Chairman Steve Orenchuk will attend and give remarks.

Manhattan Door, a third-generation family-owned business, was established as a paint and hardware store in Middle Village, New York in the 1930’s by Sklar’s grandfather, Sam. The company now manufactures innovative, customized wood doors and its full service approach includes take-off analysis, machining for hardware, per specification constructions, custom finishing, professional consulting and a quick-ship “Door-in-24” delivery program.

The organization offers a large catalogue of options for natural wood veneers, engineered door facings and standard door specifications. Over 300 of their doors have been installed in the Empire State Building’s recent renovations and other examples of their products can be seen throughout the NY metropolitan area.
