Major UK Sales Conference To Mark 20th Anniversary
Speakers and delegates from all corners of the world are to descend on Coventry for a major UK conference celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Coventry (I-Newswire) October 2, 2012 - Speakers and delegates from all corners of the world are to descend on Coventry for a major UK conference celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Successful Selling 2012 is the UK’s leading sales conference and will see seven renowned keynote speakers take centre stage at the Ricoh Arena on Friday, October 12.
Among the multi-national speakers presenting at the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management’s (ISMM) Conference is America’s Larry Winget, dubbed the ‘Pitbull of Personal Development’, along with Aussie musician turned salesman Allan Pease – regarded as one of the top body language and communications experts around.
French serial entrepreneur PY Gerbeau, CEO of X-Leisure, the largest leisure group in the UK, is also on the bill, joined by best selling author Andy Bounds and sales and marketing expert Grant Lebof.
James Denning, ex-head of enterprise sales at Amazon UK, will be addressing delegates about selling on-line, while seven times gold medallist Steve Backley OBE is to offer an insight into the attributes needed to be a success in any walk of life.
Jennie Harnaman, ISMM membership and event manager, said the talent on show at the 20th anniversary event is one of the best ever lined-up.
“We’re really excited about the 20th anniversary event which stands to be one of the biggest and best to date,” she said.
“Successful Selling has long been one of the UK’s premier exhibitions for the sales profession and the line up for this year’s event at the Ricoh Arena certainly reflects this.
“There’s not many conferences delegates will get to see such an impressive line-up of top speakers in one day, while also have the opportunity to take part in seven tailored break-out sessions.
“We’re lucky to have high calibre speakers of the likes of Larry Winget and Allan Pease flying in from the other side of the World to present alongside some of the UK’s top business leaders.
“It’s also fitting in this Olympic year to be joined by a former Olympian in Steve Backley at one of the London 2012 venues.
“No matter how big or small the organisation sales professionals represent the exhibition is guaranteed to generate sales ideas and techniques, and is always a fantastic networking event.”
