Austrian based luxury accessory label Bossett, creates the world´s first macrame sunglasses

Bossett is a new fashion label based in Klagenfurt, Austria. It is run by Claude Bossett, an artist turned designer. The focus is on macrame sunglasses and two colored gloves. The combination of polycarbonate lenses and fine macrame make for a unique contrast and dramatic design. The frame is made completely of beautifully crafted macrame, making them the first of their kind. They are available in mocha.

The Mix-Matched gloves, are two colored. One glove is white with a brown circle on the back hand, the other brown with a white circle. The gloves are made of fine lamb leather and reach up the arm. They have an elegance found in glove design from the 1960´s, but have the freshness of 2011.

Claude Bossett 39, is at the head of „Bossett“. He was raised between Silicon Valley and Austria and studied illustration at San Jose State University. He has worked as an illustrator and artist for 12 years. „I come up with different ideas, and if they haven´t been done before, I explore them to see how they can be done.“
