Lyon Apartment Communities in Redondo Beach Give Back for the Holidays
Online, December 10, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Lyon Communities, recognized as one of the largest and most respected privately held multi-family real estate companies in California, has kicked off its annual "Holiday Toy Drive" benefitting Cheer for Children.
Lyon Communities is hosting this year's drive to help Cheer for Children reach its goal of raising funds and collecting toys for children in need in California.
"Christmas should be a time of celebration, joy and hope," said Suzanne Maddalon, Senior Vice President for Lyon Communities. "Our goal is to help Cheer for Children help those that for a variety of reasons are struggling to provide for themselves or their families."

Cheer for Children was founded in 1985 as an all-volunteer organization to help children in the South Bay. It started out with about 10 devoted volunteers and now, with community help and commitment, hundreds of volunteers help at different parties and events for children.
