Lynda Hinkle Named to Board of Trustees for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties
South Jersey attorney Lynda Hinkle has been an active sponsor and volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters for several years.
Online, July 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Law Offices of Lynda L. Hinkle is pleased to announce that Lead Attorney and Founding Partner Lynda Hinkle has been asked to join the Board of Trustees for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a 110 year-old charitable organization that helps approximately 200,000 children and their families nationwide by pairing at-risk children with screened adult mentors. It is the largest donor and volunteer organization in the country, and has had great success in contributing to the lives of these children. Studies have shown that children involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters programs have lower rates of drug and alcohol abuse, achieve more success in school, have higher graduation rates, and are better prepared for college or work.
Lynda Hinkle has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters' Cooking for Kids' Sake fundraiser since 2009, both as a sponsor and volunteer organizer. In 2010 she chaired the group's Restaurant Committee, and has been Chair of the Cooking for Kids' Sake event since 2011. In 2014 she was a recipient of the Joan Creamer Memorial Award, in recognition of her "outstanding service and dedication to the youth in the community."
In addition to her work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester County, Hinkle is also active in many local charitable organizations, and currently sits on the Boards of the Rutgers University Alumni Association, the Rowan University Alumni Association, the Volunteer Center of South Jersey and the Bellmawr Lions Club.
