Successful local interior designer Kate Arbuthnott designs state-of-the-art interiors showroom on Chiswick High Road.
Online, October 8, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Local interior designer Kate Arbuthnott was specially selected to create a unique look for the flagship showroom of specialist interiors retailer Urbane Living.
The 130m2 showroom is conveniently located on Chiswick's bustling high street and has been carefully designed to complement the products on display. From the modern chevron wood block flooring to the custom-made product display systems, everything about the showroom has been carefully thought-out to make sure it's inviting and inspirational, and offers each customer the best possible shopping experience.
Kate Arbuthnott has 15 years of experience in interior design, having started her career at Helen Green Design before moving to Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler. Four years ago she set up her own company and has built up a successful business. Kate now works for a variety of residential clients, mainly London-based, and has a down-to-earth and flexible approach to decorating, working closely with clients and their briefs to create unique, elegant and interesting living spaces.
Kate used her specialist knowledge of colour and layout to enhance the Urbane Living showroom space and make it as user-friendly as possible for homeowners and interior designers who come in and browse. A calm and sophisticated colour scheme and strategic product displays ensure the showroom feels spacious, uncluttered and calming. Different wallpapers have been used throughout the showroom, including metallic wallpaper, to give a contemporary look and feel.
Having a young family herself, Kate even thought to include a children's area, perfect for parents out and about looking to update their home with youngsters in tow. 'The Snug' features a tree and fawn by a Dutch designer, giving the showroom an extra touch of fun.
