Local author Shamara S. Davis wants you and your childre to join in on the adventure, with her new series The Adventures of Marco and Carla

Brooklyn (I-Newswire) September 7, 2012 - Writer Shamara S. Davis recently published the third book in her short story series, The Adventures of Marco and Carla, and wants parents and their kids to check out what all the buzz it about.

The Adventures of Marco and Carla series is great new short story series geared towards children 8-13 years old. The series follow the adventures of Marco, Carla, and their friend Sammie. The three characters try and solve all kinds of mysteries that seem to come out of nowhere. But they live in a small town that's surrounded by mystery and the supernatural, so the adventures never end for out three brave characters.

In recent months The Adventures of Marco and Carla series has scored big on Amazon.com free downloadable books. The first book in the series The Dark Castle, has landed in the Top 20's and Top 30's of the Spine-Chiller category numerous times. Lately it was placed at #18 in the Top 20's with such great books as ParaNorman and Peter and The Vampires.

Although only three books are currently available the author is hard at work on her fourth installment to the series which she hopes to release at the end of the year.
