Mary Schneider, of Rogers, Ark. law firm Keith, Miller, Butler, Schneider & Pawlik (K.M.B.S.P), will be speaking at the Northwest Arkansas public forum: Can A Mediator Help Me Settle My Dispute?

The panel will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 7 at the Walmart Auditorium on the Northwest Arkansas Community College campus.

National Mediation Week will be held during the week of Oct. 13, according to The American Bar Association (ABA). The week will be used as a medium to educate the public about the benefits of mediation.

The ABA Mediation Week initiative is a celebration of the strides that have been made in institutionalizing mediation as one of several appropriate dispute resolution processes, according to the ABA.

Schneider is a partner at K.M.B.S.P., her main areas of practice being; domestic relations, family law, litigation, mediation and ad litem.

Family law mediation practice is an important part of her practice and she has given many speeches on family law and mediation, according to K.M.B.S.P. She is a certified mediator and a certified ad litem.
Schneider is also a board member of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Benton Co. and former member of the Benton County Sunshine School.
