Lively Freshers’ Party Provides Warm Welcome To Incoming Class Of Jaipuria Indore, By- Namrata Gwal, Shreyas Saundattikar

Everything, from dancing to dinner to competitions, welcomed the class of 2012-2014 when Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore held it’s ‘Freshers’ Party.’

Indore (I-Newswire) September 10, 2012 - Everything, from dancing to dinner to competitions, welcomed the class of 2012-2014 when Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore held it’s ‘Freshers’ Party.’

Following a hectic orientation schedule, Jaipuria’s newest students, dressed in their best attire – following a red and black colour scheme – packed the auditorium, and the contests began.

Up for grabs were the titles of Mr. and Ms. Fresher, Best Attire, Best Eyes, Best Smile and Mr. and Ms. Popular.

The contestants did the catwalk on the runway, much to the delight of the cheering audience and then selected contestants competed in ‘Pehchaan Kaun?’ (Named after the popular TV show) where they had to identify seniors through a unique one-liner printed on a heart-shaped balloon.

The titles Best Attire, Best Eyes and Best Smile (male and female) were decided by a vote from the junior and senior batches. A panel of judges selected of the top six for the finale by putting each contestant through a round of questioning.

When all the votes were tallied, Tania Lal and Ankit Awate were named Ms. and Mr. Fresher; Arpit Mishra and Swarnima Maheshwari took the title for Best Eyes; Dheeraj Kumar and Jyoti Rao won for Best Smile; Anmol Mathur and Sanchayika Chaudhry captured the honours for Best Attire and Abhishek Chandan and Monica Priya were named Mr. and Ms. Popular.

With the competitions closed, it was time to hit the dance floor as a DJ pumped out the latest tunes and students rocked the night away. After a few hours of dancing, the evening concluded with dinner.

All in all, it was an overwhelming evening. The incoming class felt as if they had created memories that would last a lifetime and said it made them truly feel welcome as the newest members of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore family.
