7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Media Community Center 301 N. Jackson Street, Media, PA 19063.

8 Week Sessions at $40 for Borough Residents and $45 for Out of Borough. Please contact the Recreation Department at 610-566-5210 x255 for session start dates.

Starting June 23, 2010- 8 week program focusing on children's self defense, anti-bullying, & fitness. Open to children 6-12 years of age. Dana Poehner, a West Chester Police Officer, will come in one day to give a seminar on children’s safety.

This is a community supported NON-PROFIT program.


Our approach to teaching is to work with students individually utilizing traditional, as well as modern, methods to enhance the practicioner's skills in the shortest length of time possible. We believe that it shouldn't take years of martial arts training in order for the student to become proficient, fluid, and develop control. This will help each individual develop confidence, self discipline, self-control, integrity, and achieve their personal goals both in martial arts as well as life.

This consultative and individualized approach is utilized so that each student can learn and advance at his or her own pace. Each person has different strengths and weaknesses; we work on enhancing their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses through the philosophical teachings of martial arts.

About Integrated Kung Fu & Kickboxing Academy:
Integrated Kung Fu (Zonghe Quanfa Gongfu) is a hybrid Chinese Martial Arts system with roots in Choy Lay Fut, Hung Gar, Northern & Southern Praying Mantis, and White Crane. Zonghe Quanfa Gongfu would be considered a Chinese Mixed Martial Art.
