Lint Center Announces 2012 Frank and Virginia Misselhorn Memorial Scholarship Winner

Online, November 8, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The Lint Center, a non-profit charity focused on supporting the educational pursuits of the next generation of America's Counterintelligence and National Security Workers, today formally announced Mr. Joseph Kirshy was awarded the 2012 Frank and Virginia Misselhorn Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support the undergraduate and graduate pursuits of scholars interested in National Security.

Lint Center scholarships include a monetary, material, and networking gift to its winners. The monetary gifts range from $500 to $1,500 and are to be used for investments in education and development. The other two gifts, winners consider invaluable. About Joseph Kirshy:
Joey Kirshy is currently pursuing his Master's degree in International Security Studies at the University of Arizona, after attending the American Military University's National Security Studies Master's program for one year. He graduated from the of Arizona in 2011 with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies, minoring in Arabic, Political Science, and Business Administration. Throughout Joey's undergraduate and graduate studies, he has been employed as a full-time Student Intern with the US Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection Office of the Border Patrol.
