Pediatric Cancer Benefit Returns to Avalon in Hollywood For Its Second Year

"Lights. Camera. Cure. - The Hollywood Dance-a-THON," an exciting benefit for The Four Diamonds Fund and their fight against pediatric cancer, returns to the Avalon Hollywood on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2pm- 8pm. The fun-filled dance party will be done in true Hollywood style, with celebrities and VIP's on the red carpet, live entertainment (bands, musicians, dance groups, DJs, etc.), and one-of-a-kind auction items. Dancers will be on their feet throughout the 6-hour event, raising donations from pledges for their efforts, similar to the various cancer walks. Last January, over 500 people attended the inaugural Hollywood Dance-a-THON, which donated over $37,000 to The Four Diamonds Fund.

The benefit is being co-hosted by Devon Werkheiser and Gia Mantegna, with live musical performances by Drake Bell, VanJess, Kait Weston, Bex, The Cannoneers, Reign Morton and Devon Werkheiser. DJ Michel Basic, DJ Splyce ,and DJ DG will also be on hand to provide non-stop music. Guest celebrities and invitees include Joe Mantegna, Brandon Routh, Adam Sevani, Sean Marquette, Christian Serratos, Corbin Blue, Colin Ferguson, Drew Seeley, Ashley Benson, Spencer Locke, Justin Deeley, Maiara Walsh, etc. "Lights. Camera. Cure." is continuing to receive heavy media and press coverage through magazine editorials (Angeleno Magazine), celebrity support through tweets and blog posts from the likes of Khloe Kardashian (2012) and others asking fans and Angelenos to participate and buy tickets to show support and raise money. The benefit is being sponsored by The Penn State Alumni Association Los Angeles Chapter (PSULA) in support of THON, the 46-hour dance marathon held by the students at the University each February for the past 40 years.
