Law Professor Dr. Leigh-Davis, Is Concentrating On Being A Television Legal Analyst

Los Angeles, California (I-Newswire) June 7, 2011 - Last year, law professor Dr. Leigh-Davis made the difficult decision to focus all of her scholarly research and writing on two legal subjects: tort law and legal ethics (also referred to as professional responsibility.) Dr. Leigh-Davis, a former entertainment attorney who is now a full-time law professor, had previously taught a variety of legal subjects, including: property law, contracts, corporate law, securities litigation and business associations.

When questioned about her decision, Dr. Leigh-Davis responded, “The law changes so often, it is difficult to be an expert if your focus is broad. I wanted to cement my area of expertise, and therefore, I had to narrow my focus to a specific area of the law.”

In addition to being a law professor, Dr. Leigh-Davis is a popular television and media personality who has a weekly radio talk show; writes for several syndicated newspaper columns; and regularly appears on television as a legal analyst and legal correspondent. Now, Dr. Leigh-Davis is making another difficult decision, in that she will be concentrating most of her time and energy on being a television legal analyst. “I love, love, love being a law professor. However, I want to take my television career to the next level,” Dr. Leigh-Davis announced.

“I will continue to be a law professor. Specifically, I will make my television career a priority, while continuing to teach and do many other things,” explained Dr. Leigh-Davis. Currently, Dr. Leigh-Davis has many other TV, radio, and writing projects in development. In her spare time, Dr. Leigh-Davis is an accomplished artist with an encyclopedic knowledge of all types of music. Recently, Dr. Leigh-Davis’ released a satirical/self improvement book entitled “Evil Things Women Do.”
