LaPret Generates Buzz for 2011 IMA Nomination Bid

The former Profound Intent star LaPret bids for the indie equivalent of the Grammys.

(I-Newswire) November 17, 2009 - The Independent Music Awards (IMAs) is an international program that honors top-ranked independent (indie) artists & releases in more than 50 Album, Song, Music Video and Design categories. IMA honors are awarded to independent artists who broaden the definition of commercial music and represent the diversity of the global indie music scene.

The emerging Rap phenomenon widely known as LaPret is out to stake his bid for a Nomination at the 10th Annual IMAs. The honors given in January 2011 will recognize the career accomplishments made throughout 2010. Nominees will be selected in November 2010.

LaPret is set to release his first full-length album “L WORD” in Spring 2010, supported by the highly-anticipated lead single “Play My Mind” (produced by Flawless) set to release at the top of the New Year on LWE/South Capitol.

Currently fans may enjoy, the former Profound Intent members' most recent solo single releases "Got the Skillz" and the 2009 Enchantment "Gloria" update, "Another Day".
