Landscape Excellence: 2013 LINLA Awards Winners Announced
The best and brightest in landscape design and construction are being honored by the Long Island Nursery & Landscape Association.
Online, January 15, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Long Island Nursery & Landscape Association is proud to announce its 2013 Landscape Design/Build award winners. These awards celebrate the best of the best in landscapes, designed and installed by companies from all over Long Island. To be eligible for the awards member companies must submit plans, photos and a written description of the project that has been completed within last two years.
The top projects were selected by a panel of six judges featuring two architects, two landscape architects, and two professional horticulturalists. Judging criteria includes quality of the design, landscape construction and plant material. The projects feature hardscapes such as pools, patios and outdoor kitchens along with plantings for privacy and seasonal interest.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards were chosen in eight categories ranging in size from Miniscape to Single Family Residences over ½ acre. A total of nineteen awards in a variety of categories including both commercial and residential landscapes will be presented at the Annual Showcase of Awards Dinner to be held at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho, NY on January 22, 2014.
