LadyLash Studios and the Susan G. Komen Foundation Lash Out Against Breast Cancer

Miami, Florida (I-Newswire) October 18, 2010 - LadyLash Studios and the Susan G. Komen Foundation are “lashing out” against Breast Cancer with a yearlong program known as “Pink Wink.” The program aims to assist women through the challenges of breast cancer with proceeds that will go towards the fight for a cure.

Partnering up with local oncologists, LadyLash Studios intends to assist breast cancer patients to regain a sense of self. Mikaela Fernandez, owner of LadyLash Studios introduced Luster Lash this past March, a lash enhancer which was designed to safely and effectively strengthen and recover lash health. Luster Lash was created for the beauty market, however we kept in mind the courageous men and women who fight cancer. “Cancer can steal the identity of these women and it is our pleasure to help in recovering a sense of normalcy when they look in the mirror,” said Georgio Fernandez, co-owner of LadyLash Studios. In addition, through the “Pink Wink” program, LadyLash Studios, in Delray Beach, is providing a variety of pink lash extensions which are subtly or boldly decorated throughout natural or faux eyelashes. For five dollars a lash, you can either add Swarovski Crystals or some pink to your wink, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the fight for a cure.
